In this workshop you will:
- Discuss causes of female and male infertility
- Learn the symptoms of the stress response (fight‐or‐flight) and how stress and other lifestyle choices
(diet, sleep, exercise) affect fertility
- Practice Partner Yoga poses which facilitate blood flow to the reproductive organs, relax mind and
body and enhance connection with your partner
- Learn the basics of mind‐body connections and participate in a deep relaxation/guided imagery
exercise geared to enhance fertility

Wildwoods character development and community building program is a unique way for elementary students to begin their path toward knowing their own value within a community and empowering them to "be the change they want to see in their world." We had a full house, with community members, some of whom drove here from as far as Oakland, connecting with our practitioners, other patients, friends, and family. Dr. Brendan Armm is among less than 50 in the country to have completed Doctoral Studies in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.
This advanced medical degree awards Dr. Armm specialties in Integrative Medicine and Orthopedics and Pain Management. As a leader of the profession, he is among a small, but growing group, who go back to school after completing their education in acupuncture and Oriental medicine for further Chinese and western medical training. Together with his fellowship at Good Samaritan Hospital in downtown Los Angeles, Dr. Armm works with patients’ pre-surgical prepping and post-surgical rehabbing, as well as offering alternatives to surgery. This expertise is added to his general practice.

Lotus joined 15,000 sun-lovers to celebrate the planet and all things green from 10:00am - 7:00pm on the 3rd Street Promenade in Santa Monica. We served organic kumquats, offered free blood pressure screenings, administered therapeutic Oriental ear-seed treatments, and enjoyed being with community. In addition to meeting some of our practitioners, folks enjoyed loads of other exhibits, food, and music. Look forward to seeing you there next year. Tibet Rally at the Federal Building in Westwood

Lotus was there, holding banners and flying flags in front of the Federal Building, with tibetan community and honking cars all in support of Tibet’s Freedom from China. Some of our practitioners have been to Tibet and know the oppression the tibetan people live under. We wanted to cast our vote and show our support, in hopes that someday SOOOON this planet will see more peace and more happiness. For more information click here.

Her lecture was an introduction of Naturopathic medicine for women’s health. What a great event it was, and given her vast knowledge of eastern and western medical systems we look forward to more lectures and workshops from Dr. Karlin.

Back in October 2007, Lotus was awarded a plaque to honor its construction accomplishments and business practices, particularly creating a green business. What made it special, Lotus East-West Medical Center was the first in the healthcare field to work with the city to meet the town’s environmentally-conscious standards. Opens It’s Doors August 1, 2007
After six weeks of construction, transforming a sandwich and salad shop into a medical center, Lotus now treats patients six days a week, offering integrative medicine that includes acupuncture and Oriental medicine, family physicians, naturopathic medicine, and psychotherapy. The best thing about it is patients now have a place where they sit down with their primary care doctor and have a real conversation about their health goals.
